Happy Halloween. There will be a participatory parade through Oregon Hill departing from Monroe Park at 7pm tonight. There will be bands, floats, puppets, and costumes. Bike marshals needed. Accessibility status unknown.
If you have outdoor pets, you may want to keep them indoors, or well supervised, tonight. I’ve heard rumors that Halloween night is a planned date to attack or poison pitbulls: I don’t know how true that is, but better keep the critters in tonight.
Also, GSEX is holding a costume contest, dance party, and treat spread at their office in Crenshaw house until 4:30pm. Their costumes are rad and they’ve got plenty of goodies- stop on by.
