Accessible and Non-Sex-Specific Bathroom Finders
The bathroom accessibility directory, Safe2Pee.org (linked in the title), has come out with an iphone application called TransSquat, which allows users to search for non-sex-specific bathrooms on the go.
If you happen upon an accessible or non-sex-specific bathroom arrangement, you can add it to the Safe2Pee directory, which will add it to the TransSquat app. This helps people find bathrooms that are safe for them to use, which can be a challenge for a number of reasons.
Here is the Richmond-specific directory. There are only about twenty listed, most of them near VCU; if you see an accessible or gender-neutral bathroom, note it down and put it on the list. It may really help someone out one day.
