"Protesters drown out Obama" story was about Richmond peace activists
A little late, but because none of the articles I’ve found name details, the protesters were our very own Vivek Jain, Rain Burroughs, and a third whose name I can’t recall. The full chant was “Get out of Afghanistan, stop the sanctions on Iran”, and I’ve been told that they got the full thing out four times before they were drowned out by the crowd.
I also learned, from Rain, that ‘Iran’ should not be pronounced “eye-ran”, but instead like “eh-rahn”.

Meet the 31 Year Old Doctor and Occupier Who's Trying to Take Out Eric Cantor
My friend Vivek Jain is running against Eric Cantor as an independent. He’s a pretty radical progressive.
If you’d like to know more, here's the Facebook page for his campaign.
I’ve decided that, for this blog, I may sometimes publicize and endorse politicians- but only independents.
